Developing a great looking rod range with perfect playing and casting properties was the aim – the CF1 rod series the result.

In cooperation with the renowned British manufacturer Century Composites Ltd. I have designed a rod series, featuring three different models, which is second to none.

Century builts composite parts for many leading Formula 1 teams and that is no coincidence! Due to their know how and many years of rod building experience Century is the logical development and production partner.

I am particularly proud of the result of our cooperation.

Only the latest and best components are being used during the manufacturing process of the CF1 rod series, which results in an impressive action and overall rod performance.

The rod´s finish has been deliberately kept very minimalistic but very very classy. High performance Fuji K guides, a special composite reel seat and a laser engraved butt cap fetauring the FINKELDE logo result in a stunning look.

All rod models feature a 40 mm butt ring ensuring optimum casting distances. A large tip ring enables the leader knot to pass through without getting jammed, if it is covered in a bit of weed during the final stages of landing a fish. Revolutionary Fuji K guides prevent tangles.

The handle is covered in high quality japanese shrink rubber enhancing the slim blank.

The blank features anti-torque properties, nanotechnology surface treatment and has been autoclaved, which ensures a superb longevity of the blank´s action.

We can honestly say, from a technical point of view, by today´s standards, we couldn´t have done any better!

The CF1 rod series – perfection achieved!

12 ft 2 ¾ lb

The 12 ft 2 ¾ lb model is the allrounder in the range and the rod that I personally use the most. No matter if you´re fishing under the rod tip or at range, this rod always performs great. In particular when playing fish under the rod tip the 2 ¾ lb model demonstrates its class.

12 ft 3 lb

The 12 ft 3 lb model is ideal for long casts and fishing with heavy leads and PVA bags. I am convinced that this rod will become very popular with anglers fishing in France.

13 ft 3 ¼ lb

The 13 ft 3 ¼ lb model is an impressive work horse, which in the right hands will achieve huge casting disctances. However it was very important to me that the rod would retain a nice playing action despite its power. Using the latest composite technology we have achieved just that in an impressive manner.
